<\/span><\/p><\/div>

I am an independent, liberal Rabbi living in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Currently, I serve as the chaplain of the Jewish Chaplaincy Society and a retired from chaplain as a\u00a0 Chaplain for a federal prison in the Pacific region of Canada.\u00a0 Although I still on occasion do some volunteer work inside.<\/p>

I am available for life cycle ceremonies, teaching, and spiritual counselling. Many of the people I have worked with either do not belong to synagogues or have needs that most synagogue settings can meet. For example, I officiate at interfaith and same-sex wedding ceremonies. I believe that everyone should have access to their traditions regardless of the directions our lives sometimes take<\/span>.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I\u2018m a long time member of the Jewish Renewal Community Or Shalom in Vancouver. My ordination is from the Modern Rabbi Program of the Rabbinic Seminary International in New York City (Rabbi Joseph Gelberman z\u2018l), although I did most of my rabbinic training through the rabbinic studies program of Aleph: Alliance for Jewish Renewal.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
